The Challenge
Our customer is a leader in the composites industry with one of the largest full-service networks of custom moulding and assembly facilities in North America. Senacea Ltd. provided a solution for the improvement of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) data export templates.
The evaluation led to a project of development and implementation of the master template which allowed the automated creation of customised testing trackers to gather various data and including computations as well as custom formatting of units of measurement.
The Solution
Senacea began by evaluating existing tracking templates for opportunities to automate, error-proof and standardise their use and created a bespoke solution that will be managed in-house.
We configured an automated master track template to meet the requirements of the client with the following features:
Development of the master template allowing to manage and create customised tracking file templates
Ability to define and modify file locations, fields, data formats and validation and computational fields
The functionality of saving, loading and modifying template settings
Hyperlinks to all created templates
Automated error-proofing features in created templates (incomplete input reminders, accidental close prevention)
The functionality of archiving completed trackers in structured folder directories
Automated row adding to the table once single sample data was added
Extensive documentation of system use and administration
Support in implementation and with testing
